Established in 2014 following the disbanding of the previous tenants and residents association, we have grown as a TARA and as individuals, putting on numerous events from New Year's Eve parties for the elderly to Halloween parties for the children. Check out our Gallery for some awesome pictures.

We started off with a project suggested by Father Ian from St Mary Magdalene's Church, to improve the look of Alder Brook, situated on Chestnut Road and Worsley Road. This was made possible by funding from the Winton Festival Committee.

From there, we attended our first Winton Festival, holding a stall, where we did a name the teddy among other things.

 

While the parties are always fun and we love doing them, there is a more serious side to the work we do.

 

As our primary aim is to improve our community making it a better, safer and friendlier place to live, we hold public meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at Westwood Park Community Centre on Grasmere Crescent (M30 8DN) from 10:00am that are attended by local Councillors and City West officers.
